  • Abstract submission guidelines

    The deadline for Abstract submission to the 16th ESE Postgraduate Course in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism that will take place in Athens, Greece is 15th of January 2015.

    Delegates are invited to submit short reports on clinical cases or case series.

    Representative cases/case series will be selected for oral presentation during workshops.

    Please read carefully the following instructions and follow them strictly:

    • Abstracts must be submitted only to: kskoulida@free-spirit.gr
    • Presenting authors of abstracts must be registered as a participant for the course.
    • Abstracts must be submitted no later than 15th January 2015
    • Abstracts must be presented in English.
    • The ESE Steering Committee will determine whether the abstract is selected as an oral presentation.

    Poster information

    • Posters will be displayed at Metropolitan Hotel (Room TBA). The poster exhibit hall will be open for setup on Friday, 13 February 2015. Posters will remain on display at all times and must be removed by Sunday 15 February 2015, before 13:00.
    • Any posters that have not been removed cannot be kept or forwarded to the owner.
    • Display boards will be numbered.
    • Posters will be presented vertically (Portrait).  Maximum size 120 cm x 80 cm.
    • Fixing/mounting material will be supplied.

     

    Editorial rules

    Read carefully the EDITORIAL RULES to format your abstract correctly.

    • Submit only .docx files and save your file under Name.docx
    • Abstracts should not exceed 3000 characters, including spaces.
    • The title of the abstract should be in bold style. Abstracts must clearly and briefly include introduction, clinical case presentation, and conclusions.
    • Standard abbreviations are allowed.
    • E-mail address of the presenting author should be included.
    • DO NOT use columns in your text. Unless really necessary, avoid special characters, e.g. Greek letters or mathematical symbols.
    • The abstract, including title, authors’ names and addresses, must fit in the space provided on the abstract submission form.
